First and foremost, we want to extend our heartfelt apologies if this is the first newsletter you’ve received. We’ve made some changes to our system based on feedback, ensuring that more of you can stay in the loop.
The Latest News:
Ongoing: We’re actively collecting your thoughts and opinions. Please take a moment to participate in our survey (find the link at the top of the page). Remember, it’s all about numbers. To attract the right kind of help and support, we must demonstrate the community’s strong desire to save the Ostler Inn.
New: We’ve scheduled our ‘Local Stakeholders Meeting’ on the 18th October, where the steering group will connect with local businesses, decision-makers, and representatives from various local organisations and committees. During this meeting, we’ll discuss our plans and gather ideas for input and support. If you belong to this group and haven’t received an invitation, please email contact@savetheostler.co.uk for information. Your input is invaluable – the potential closure of the Ostler Inn affects us all.
What’s Next: We’ve set a deadline of October 14th for completing the questionnaire. After this date, we’ll analyse the responses, assess the support, and understand the community’s desires. This will guide us to the next crucial steps. We anticipate hosting a public meeting after completing that, during which we’ll collectively decide on the direction to take. Following this meeting, we’ll form the official committee that will spearhead our efforts. Stay tuned for updates!
